Women have many forms of strength, beauty, and power.

While the women's rights movement has come leaps and bounds in recent years, we still experience pressure to act like men in the workplace. At the same time, we're simultaneously penalized for violating traditional gender roles and earn, on average, just 79% of men's salaries to show for it.

The historical oppression of women may be eradicated in most of the world, but these subtle forms of discrimination still occur on a daily basis — which is why we must pave our own paths.

Celebrating the unique, myriad strengths of womanhood — no matter what this looks like — is key to reclaiming our power and remembering that we are not alone in our journey toward equality and true independence.

A Celebration Of All Women's Strength And Power

This beautiful short film, "Today I Rise," is a celebration of all women and their inalienable strength and power.

Most importantly, this film serves as a reminder that, no matter who you are, we all have the answers to our own life path within us.

Our past experiences, hurt, struggles, and painful memories complement and combine with our victories and successes, to lead us to exactly where we need to be at any given moment.

All we need to do is make peace with our life story — so we can embrace the divine plan for our lives.
